Vermiglio Theatre Productions is a theatre company which spells high quality drama, intriguing productions and new frontiers. With the plays selected and the cast and crew chosen Vermiglio aims at offering audiences a high theatrical experience . Vermiglio Theatre Productions also aims at eventually bringing up and launching new talent by eventually holding workshops and master classes for the most promising performers on the island.
The company was founded by Michelle Zerafa (actress, dancer and choreographer as well as a counsellor and Alan Fenech (actor, director and scriptwriter and currently reading for a Masters in Film Studies) in 2010. The first production was Mark Healy's "The Collector" staged in November 2010 at St. James Cavalier theatre in Malta and directed by highly acclaimed Maltese director Albert Marshall. Since then, the company has grown producing a variety of plays ranging from festival plays to site-specific performances.
Along the years, Vermiglio Theatre Productions has grown introducing new and upcoming actors to the stage working alonside some of Malta's most established actors.
